Pumpkins make a fabulous fall statement, not only outdoors, but indoors as well.
Here at P K Glitz we are all about the sparkle, but this time of year especially calls for everything to be glitzed,
don't you agree?

Today I am going to show you how to easily add a beautiful greeting to your fall pumpkin decor |
Cut your message or design from WonderFilm |
![]() |
Use clear repositionable tape to lay over your design to hold it in place (This is the same type of film used when transferring vinyl) |
![]() |
Position your message or design to your pumpkin to determine the best placement. |
Place some marks using a pencil or pieces of tape so you know where you want all of your permanent pieces.

The leaf was the first piece I wanted to put on to my pumpkin so I carefully removed the backing from the WonderFilm while keeping the top of the leaf attached to my repositionable tape. |
Once you are sure that all of the pieces are securely attached to the pumpkin, begin removing the covers one at at time and applying glitter like you normally would with any other project.

Supplies:
- Glitter: Steel, Pumpkin, Gilded Grape Leaf, Sea Mist, New England Autumn, Timber, Buttered Rum (P K Glitz)
- WonderFilm (P K Glitz)
- Anti Static Brush (P K Glitz)
- Application Spoons (P K Glitz)
- Word Art (Silhouette America)
- Pumpkin
- Petroleum Jelly
Note: Before starting this project, make sure that your pumpkin is clean and dry.
If you are going to keep your finished pumpkin outdoors, then go over the entire pumpkin with a thin coat of petroleum jelly, avoiding the glittered area. This will help to preserve your pumpkin through the holiday season.
